Join us for our Bible Study celebrating the season of Pentecost and concentrating on the work of the Holy Spirit in the church of the first century and the 21st century. This will be a six-week study beginning on Wed. May 11th through June 15th. The sessions begin at 10:00 am and continue until 11:30 am. This study group,
sponsored by Warsaw UMC, will meet at Calvary UMC just south of Thomas’ store on Rt 3. So far, members of six different congregations have expressed an intent to participate. We would welcome YOU, too! To register, simply tell the pastor of your interest, call him at 757-870-9683, or email him at

All of us have enjoyed and appreciated being together again for worship services.  Given the extremely transmissible nature of the new variant of Covid-19, however, it is prudent for us to use great caution when together.  Wearing a mask is recommended, and hand-to-hand contact should be avoided, regardless of vaccination status.  Thank you for your consideration.

Pastor Adams

Welcome Rev. Larry Adams

Rev. Adams received his B. A. degree from Millsaps College, Jackson, MS in 1966, where he majored in Latin and Greek. He received his M. His first year in full-time pastoral ministry was spent in The Auld Kirk of Ayr, Scotland. After several years as pastor in the Mississippi Conference, Larry transferred to the Virginia Conference in 1975. He served five appointments in Virginia before retiring in 2008

Warsaw UMC will hold one service on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday school will be held at 9:00 a.m.  If you cannot join us in person, please join us on our Facebook stream.
