Please read about our relaxed COVID guidelines now in effect

On, November 1, 2020, Warsaw United Methodist Church reopened for In-Person Worship Service at 11 AM. With the help of our Healthy Church Team and Council, we were able to come up with a plan to open safely. Even though we know that the pandemic is not over, the availability and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines now greatly reduces the risk of virus spread throughout our communities. Pandemic restrictions continue to be relaxed nationwide and we give thanks for these hopeful signs.

In accordance with the State of Virginia and the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, we are easing the previous mitigation measures effective May 28th.

On August 8th, we will resume our 8:45 a.m. service and will continue to hold our 11:00 a.m. service (which will be streamed) as well.  We hope to see you there!

  • Fully vaccinated persons are no longer required to wear masks in our church settings

  • Unvaccinated persons should continue to wear masks for both their own protection and those around them

  • No temperature checks or interview questions will be required

  • We may again sing, and use the hymnal, songbooks, Bibles and and offering envelopes

If there is a resurgence of the virus in the months ahead, the conference may be required to revert back to more strict protective measures.

We will still be providing our online worship for those who still feel uncomfortable coming back due to Covid-19.

Thank you and welcome home beloved church family.

We hope everyone is remaining safe and well.  Although we welcome all of you for our in-person worship, we will continue to host our church services online.  Please join us and follow our Facebook page as we stream our service at 11:00 am on Sundays .

If you have health concerns, we understand that you may wish to continue to worship with us via Facebook , or remain masked and socially distanced when worshipping in person.   We wish everyone good health in these times.

The United Methodist Church believes God's love for the world is an active and engaged love, a love seeking justice and liberty. According to our United Methodist beliefs, we cannot just be observers. Come and join us as we worship together. All are welcomed to join us at Christ's table.
