On, November 1, 2020, Warsaw United Methodist Church reopened for In-Person Worship Service at 11 AM. With the help of our Healthy Church Team and Council, we were able to come up with a plan to open safely. We will still be providing our online worship for those who still feel uncomfortable coming back due to Covid-19. When attending in-person worship we ask that you wear a mask covering your nose and mouth the entire time as well as practice social distancing.

To be in compliance with the guidelines of the Virginia Annual Conference, we put away all Hymnals and Bibles and will use our projector to provide guidance. The Virginia Annual Conference also requires each person returning to church to complete a Registration Form, linked below, before they return or filled at the Registration Table upon arrival. Please plan to stop by the Registration Table at the front entrance each time before you are guided to your seat. They will do the following:

(1) Collect Registration Forms.

(2) Ask a few questions regarding your health.

(3) Check your temperature.

(4) Guide you to your seat in the sanctuary.

(5) Dismiss you after the service.

Plan to arrive a little early to go through check-in. We will be entering and exiting only through the main entrance. Thank you and welcome home beloved church family.

We hope everyone is remaining safe and well as we go through this strenuous time. Due to the risk of spreading COVID-19, we shall be hosting our church services online and canceling events until further notice. Until the disease has died down please join us and follow our Facebook page as we stream our service at 11:00 am on Sundays and live stream chats with the Pastor on Wednesday at 11:00 am.

Remember in order to stay safe and help lessen the spread of the virus to wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds, cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing, avoid touching your face, and if possible stay home and practice social distancing. When going out in public be sure to properly wear your face masks. We wish everyone good health in these times.

The United Methodist Church believes God's love for the world is an active and engaged love, a love seeking justice and liberty. According to our United Methodist beliefs, we cannot just be observers. Come and join us as we worship together. All are welcomed to join us at Christ's table.
