Where Faith Works, Where Faith Grows

Community Food Pantry

Our next Community Food Pantry USDA Food Distribution is Friday, May 5th  Join us as we work together with volunteers from other churches to provide food for persons in our community. Help us unload the NN Food Bank truck and prepare bags Thursday from 8:30 to 11 am. Help us welcome guests and carry bags for them on Friday from 7:45am – 12.  Your giving and hard work make a big difference in the lives of hundreds of people in our community each month.  God uses this ministry to make an impact here where we live.  In March we provided food for 407 persons in our community. In 2016, we distributed 70 tons of food.

United Methodist Women

We have changed our meeting schedule for 2017. We will be meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12 noon in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. We invite all women to join us, and bring a friend.

You do not need to be a member of Warsaw UMC; you don’t even need to be a United Methodist. We are all about mission on behalf of women, children, and youth everywhere.

I hope to see you at our next meeting!

Classes will be Sunday afternoons 4:00-5:15, beginning February 19 and running through May 21 (not including holidays). Confirmands are also asked to go to the District Youth Retreat in March 24-26. Confirmands will confirm their faith on Pentecost Sunday, June 4.

Warsaw UMC & Warsaw BC together!

Mark your calendars now for a spectacular Vacation Bible School that we will hold jointly with our neighbors. Monday and Tuesday will be held at our church; Wednesday through Friday will be at Warsaw Baptist Church and conclude with a cookout. We can’t wait to have VBS together, and we’ll work together with WBC all the way. We’ll need lots of adult and youth volunteers from both churches. If you can help, contact Sandy Newsome at [email protected]
